An Everglades Escape

Your everglades eco safari departs from the shores of Habitat Noosa Everglades eco camp where you will board a purpose built everglades vessel for a river cruise across the magnificent wetlands of the Noosa River into Australia's only Everglades.

First stop is an indigenous cultural meeting place called Fig Tree Point, where you’ll have time to depart the vessel and walk around this historically important landscape, afterwards you’ll reboard the vessel to cruise upstream through ancient landscapes, mirrored waterways & sub-tropical rainforest to enjoy morning tea at iconic Harry’s Hut.

After morning tea you’ll have time to check out the iconic Harry’s Hut facility which was once home to teams of timber millers. Afterwards you will reboard the vessel for your return journey where you’ll experience the magnificent wonders of the Everglades, recognised as one of the most spectacular waterways in Australia - a place you MUST see to believe.

Enjoy the leisurely river cruise back to habitat noosa everglades eco camp, where everyone enjoys a chef prepared hot roast lunch in the award winning CootharaBAR & Bistro, which overlooks the lake and surrounding national park.
