Your safari begins at habitat noosa eco camp where you board one of the purpose built boat to cruise across the magnificent wetlands of the Noosa River to the start of Australia’s Everglades.

When the boat arrives at Fig Tree Point, you’ll enjoy the chance to walk around and discover a historic indigenous meeting place. From there you could have the option to paddle a Canadian style canoe upstream through ancient landscapes, mirrored waterways & sub-tropical rainforest to re-join your group for delicious morning tea light refreshments at Harry’s Hut, a famous local historic venue.

Experience the magnificent wonders of the Everglades, recognised as one of the most spectacular canoeing adventures in Australia - a place you MUST see to believe.

Your safari returns to Habitat Noosa eco camp mid afternoon where you’ll be served a chef prepared roast lunch in the CootharaBAR and Bistro overlooking the majestic national park and pristine waters of the upper Noosa river.

What a great way to make the most of this beautiful part of the world, combining both the physical satisfaction of canoeing and the peaceful serenity of the cruise made for a really well balanced day out. On return to the eco retreat we were treated to an amazing roast lunch with all the trimmings and even were able to treat ourselves to beers and brews made at their very own brewery from the water deep under the earth, so pure it makes for a pleasant taste and great beer. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful to visit the Noosa Everglades. Picked up on time from our hotel & great cruise along the everglades. For the more energetic there was a 5km canoe trip which is optional. At the end if the tour a hearty roast lunch at the Eco Habitat. Well worth it.

I’ve been visiting the Sunshine Coast for years and most of my family now live there. So we feel pretty local and can say this was one of the best days out on our recent three week stay. We did the cruise and the canoeing which I can say was pretty effortless. They also have three person canoes if you are worried about your arms giving up but to be honest we had a dad and his two kids next to us with no issues at all. The Anzac biscuits and chocolate brownies were welcomes at the tea break and the roast pork at the end of the day was to die for. Washed it down with one of their own boutique pale ales which was great. I highly recommend this as a trip or even a day out for lunch at the micro brewery. Well done guys, just the right amount of input from our guide without talking your head off. We’ll be back and have told both our local families to make it a father day treat.
