Your experience starts with a cruise across the Noosa River before entering the majestic Australian Everglades.
Our first stop is Fig Tree Point for a short circuit walk through an ancient landscape and lush sub-tropical rainforests.
Enjoy a light refreshment in the Everglades.
Re-board our eco boat and continue your journey upstream to historic Harry’s hut.

Whichever option YOU choose – your destination is 5km upstream. Harry’s Hut, a historic logger’s camp from the early 1900s.
Take some time to explore this historical setting. Our experienced eco guides provide expert commentary throughout your day about the unique flora and fauna, abundant wildlife, and interesting history of the region.
Return to Habitat Noosa Everglades Eco Camp and enjoy lunch (At your own expense) or just relax in the CootharaBAR & Bistro. It is the ideal setting to sit back, enjoy the lakeside views and sample a beer from Australia’s only artesian micro-brewery.
The Everglades Explorer showcases the magnificent wonder of Australia’s Everglades and is recognised as one of the most amazing natural wilderness experiences in the world.

Participants must be at least 7 years old to join the canoe component of the tour. Children under 7 are welcome to stay on the boat but will not be able to canoe.

All participants must be capable swimmers to take part in the canoeing. If you cannot swim, you are still welcome to stay on the boat and enjoy the rest of the tour without canoeing.
We aim to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests!
extras: Self drive customers are welcome to arrive onsite before the tour departs or stay on after the tour returns and enjoy our Bar & Bistro.
disclaimers: At certain times of the year water levels on the lake are very low which restrict our ability to board from the pontoon. When this happens guests may be required to walk through water to board our tour boats. We will do our best to contact guests via SMS if low tides are expected, however suitable footwear and clothing should always be selected in preparation for this type of event.
QPWS (Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service) may restrict access to parts of the upper Noosa River including the Everglades without advanced notice. Our permit to operate is subject to us complying with any directives from the QPWS. This means we may have to substitute the routes our boats take and locations visited.
faqs: Q) Are animals or pets allowed on the tour?
A) No, as our tours operate inside a national park animals are strictly prohibited. Animals are not be left in your car while you are on the tour. If you turn up with an animal or pet you will need to rebook an alternative date and no refunds will be issued if you are unable to rebook an alternative date.Q) Are service animals allowed on the tour?
A) Yes. Please call our reservations team on 07-5485-3348 at least 24 hours prior to your departure and let us know.
Ensure you have valid service animal documents in your possession and it should wear the appropriate signage.
